Website Backup Release & Data Handover Policy
This policy governs the release, preparation, verification, and handover of website backups maintained by Digital Zarru for its clients.
Website backup generation, packaging, verification, migration preparation, and secure delivery are professional service activities and are not included in free support unless specifically mentioned in a written agreement.
1. Backup Release Charges
A standard service charge of ₹1,000 (One Thousand Indian Rupees) is applicable for providing website backups to clients requesting website data, files, databases, source code, media files, or any related digital assets.
The backup charge covers:
- Backup generation and extraction.
- Database export and validation.
- Website files packaging.
- Backup integrity verification.
- Secure transfer and delivery.
- Administrative and technical processing time.
2. Payment Requirement
The backup will be released only after full payment of the applicable backup service fee has been received and confirmed by Digital Zarru.
3. Service Termination Requests
In the event a client decides to discontinue services with Digital Zarru, the client remains eligible to receive a copy of their website backup subject to payment of the applicable backup release fee.
Termination of service does not waive administrative or technical charges associated with backup preparation and handover.
4. Delivery Timeline
Backup delivery is generally completed within 1–5 business days after payment confirmation, depending on website size and server resources.
5. Client Responsibility
- The client is responsible for downloading and securely storing the backup after delivery.
- Digital Zarru shall not be responsible for data loss occurring after successful delivery.
- The client must verify the backup upon receipt.
6. No Refund Policy
Once the backup preparation process has commenced or the backup has been delivered, the backup service fee becomes non-refundable.
7. Limitation of Liability
Digital Zarru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, business interruption, loss of profits, or data-related damages arising from the use, restoration, migration, or transfer of the provided backup.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a website backup, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Backup Release Policy and the associated service charges.
9. Policy Updates
Digital Zarru reserves the right to update, modify, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice.
